IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE
2020
‘It’s A Jungle Out There’ is an audiovisual installation piece, that derives inspiration from Dadaism, surrealism and absurdism. It aims to broaden the discussion surrounding disability, and inclusive/disabled-centred environments - both of which I have personal experience with - and to break away from the one-note and reductive narrative of the subject. Shedding light on the ridiculous, the bizarre and the lighthearted, the project aims to celebrate the broad spectrum of neurodiversity, and all the experiences that come with it, whether positive or negative.
A captioned version of this piece is available on my YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw9Denrla6Q&t=243s
