WHAT, YOU THOUGHT WE JUST FORGOT ABOUT GRENFELL?

Following the Grenfell tower tragedy, London pulled together to make noise about the injustices committed against the residents of Ladbroke Grove. As both a Londoner and an attendee of the same university and bachelor's programme as one of the Grenfell tower victims, Khadija Saye, I felt compelled to complete a project representing public opinion on the matter.

In today's media-heavy climate, it is easy for tragedies to be swept away by an overwhelming amount of incoming news. The title of my project is taken from a line of Stormzy's rap at the Brit Awards, where he made it clear that we have not turned away from the victims of Grenfell. My project aspires to communicate the same message.
